With reference to the latest news published by SiracusaOggi.it and other newspapers, I reaffirm that the presumed kinship between the Ciccones from Noto (Sicily – Italy) and the Ciccones from Pacentro (Abruzzo – Italy) cannot be confirmed. Nicola Ciccone, who was born in Noto in 1882, was a namesake of Madonna’s actual great grand-father who was born in Pacentro in 1867. Incidentally, Nicola Ciccone from Noto was Francesco’s great grandson. Let me remind you that I am referring here to the Francesco without a surname (go and read my research of August 24th 2022 for further information).
Are Madonna’s origins in Sicily? No they aren’t!
